Uncle Joe's Farm

Location: Lower Level

Uncle Joe's Farm

This wonderful, handcrafted 1/64th scale model of a 1930's farmstead is an accurate depiction of farming back in the "good old days."

Fashioned after his uncle's farm in Howard County, Mr. Palmersheim's diorama illustrates the art and science of a horse-powered farming operation.

The story of "the way things used to be down on the farm" remains vibrantly alive through this masterfully executed model.  An extensive collection of 1/64th and 1/43rd scale tractors and implements, as well as, historic photos and farmsteads, complement the "in-the-round" diorama of Uncle Joe's Farm and Bob's Mini Machines.
